As educators, we've watched too many students struggle within today's one-size-fits-all school structure. Many are rushed from lesson to lesson without truly mastering what they've learned, simply trying to keep pace with a system that moves everyone forward at the same speed. Year after year, this cycle can leave students discouraged, disengaged, and sometimes falling behind. That is why we started Anchor Point Academy. We believe students deserve a flexible learning space where they are known, supported, and challenged at their individual level. Our goal is to create a place where children can grow in confidence, explore their curiosity, strengthen their academic foundation, and develop both character and a love for learning in an environment led by The Lord.

Our relationship with God is the foundation of everything we do. We encourage students to grow in their understanding of Biblical truth, build a personal faith, and learn how to live it out in their daily lives.

Penny Gibbs, Founder, Guide
Penny is a former elementary school teacher and licensed nurse, bringing both academic experience and a strong focus on the care and safety of our students. She is a mother to two adults and a grandmother of three. Penny is a certified guide through our private school network and has completed a thorough background check.
Katie Bokorney, Founder, Guide
Katie is a former elementary school teacher aide and has several years of substitute teacher experience. She is a mother to two young children, is a certified guide through our private school network and has completed a thorough background check.
