Full-time students complete all coursework at school and will not have homework. This program is best for most students who are coming from a different, full-time school. Full-time students will bring a packed lunch each day, and healthy, brain-boosting snacks will be provided.

Currently accepting students entering Kindergarten - 6th grade with plans to expand through 8th grade for 2027-2028 and high school for 2028-2029.

Additional Anchor Point Academy locations are also in the works for 2027 in nearby towns. Stay tuned for announcements!

The Details

Two program opportunities

Full-time: Monday-Thursday 8:30-12:30

Part-time: Monday + Wednesday 1:00-3:00

Part-time students complete the bulk of their coursework at home. This program is intended for students who have experience with home-school and may be seeking extra socialization, participation in fun group projects and extracurricular activities, or even just an extra set of eyes on academic work. Part-time enrollment at Anchor Point Academy still means full participation in our school's program. Students will use the same curriculum as our full-time students and may not combine our program with a separate home-school curriculum. Part-time students will not eat lunch at school but will be offered healthy, brain-boosting snacks each day.

Tuition Information

What does tuition include?

Tuition includes everything your child needs to attend our school, whether enrolled in the full-time or part-time program. Anchor Point Academy provides each student with a personalized curriculum, all necessary supplies and materials, a laptop, daily healthy snacks, and costs are covered for all extracurricular activities we provide. Parents are only responsible for providing a daily packed lunch (if enrolled full-time) and may be asked to cover the cost of their child attending a field trip event.

Two Tuition Options:

Texas Education Freedom Accounts

Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) is a new program Texas has implemented beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity allows families to use the funds the state would use on their child in public school for a private school or homeschool education. All Texas students are eligible to apply, although not every family will receive funding. TEFA scholarships are awarded through a lottery system, based on income tiers, with first priority given to students who applied with an IEP/504 plan.

Anchor Point Academy has been approved by the state of Texas as an accredited, participating program, allowing us to accept TEFA vouchers. While Anchor Point Academy participates in this program, the state does not dictate our curriculum or have any role in how our school operates. Program participation does not require students to complete standardized testing such as STAAR or other testing programs.

The TEFA application period for 2026 was February 4th-March 31st, 2026. Scholarships are granted in April and May, and families who have been awarded are required to enroll their child in a participating private school on or before July 1st, 2026, to receive full funding amounts. Once a student has been awarded a voucher, they will continue to receive a voucher each year, as long as it is being used through an approved institution. If a family with more than one child applies for TEFA and one child is awarded a scholarship, siblings who applied are automatically awarded funding as well.

TEFA private school vouchers cover our tuition rates in-full, so families do not pay anything out-of-pocket.

Self Pay

Families receive a 5% discount if paid in full on or before August 14th, 2026.

Families receive a 5% sibling discount on the second (and any additional) student, if enrolling more than one child.
