The Matagorda County Birding Nature Center
Anchor Point Academy will be located at the Matagorda County Birding Nature Center for the 2026-2027 school year. This 35 acre nature preserve is a beautiful display of God's creation, which will allow us to spend meaningful time outdoors exploring and growing. From bald eagles to turtles, there is so much for the curious minds of our students to discover. Our indoor time will be spent in the event center which has two restrooms and plenty of space for our learners to work. We feel immensely blessed and are so excited about our school's home!
Safety is our top priority
Anchor Point Academy is very fortunate to have a licensed nurse serving as one of our founders and guides, who will be present during school hours. The health and safety of our students is a top priority, and we are committed to maintaining transparency with families regarding daily activities and events. To support this commitment, families will have access to a secure, password-protected live video feed during learning hours. Our goal is for parents to feel confident, informed, and at peace about their child's educational environment.
